FREAKING MCI HAS BLOCKED ME AGAIN I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE!

I heard that now once you reach $100 they automatically block you, whether you pay on time or not. They blocked me awhile back because AT&T was my phone company

I had a problem like that w/AT&T before I switched my long distance. They cut our calls off when it reached a certain amount before the bill was due or my billing cycle was even up!!

I'm still blocked and still paying on the phone. Not being able to talk strengthens our bond even though I can't stand it!

Leonda...I know it's hard not being able to talk to your man. I don't have any problems w/the phones now, my fiancee & I have problems w/the prison being locked down a lot. Now he is in seg. until this Sunday, I hope.
The letters are nice, but there are so many other things that we always need to talk about right away & can't.

That's awful Tina. For a few months I couldn't talk to Billy and it put a strain on our relationship. Now he can call and I'm always excited to hear his voice. I hope you get this problem resolved so you can feel better.

i know they want me to pay my phone co. 150 dollars when i never got the bill!

i am having problems with blocked calls also. when my friend tries to call the line is blocked. my local phone company says there is not block on my phone, and from what i can tell there is no block from inside prison. the phone company concedes that a past unpaid bill made by my ex husband using my phone without my consent COULD be creating the block. but no guarantee. the bill is around 300 dollars! and even if i did pay it, and i can't they can't say for sure that would correct the problem.

Unfortunately in TX inmates can't call from prison, no matter what so none of this applies to me but the site that jnv512 posted above sounds like the best thing since sliced bread. I believe if calls were an option, I would definatly sign on.

Tina, you said it was MCI, then said it was the prison that blocked your phone. Can the prison block you without the support of phone company? Just curious.
