Does anyone out there know what the huge motorcycle procession was all about in Phoenix/Avondale/West Valley on Saturday April 14th? It went down 115th Avenue which is also Avondale/El Mirage Road. We got stopped at the Avondale Rd/Dysart intersection. It was huge and had to be awesome from an aerial view. Lasted 45 minutes anyway.

Just wondering if it was a funeral for a biker or what????? It was pretty awesome.

I will answer my own question! It was the Hearts to Heros motorcycle ride ~ bikers donating $15 and a bag of items for our troops. They rode from CCV Church in North Phoenix to PIR. At the church, military families got to directly connect with their servicemen first. Pretty cool. I guess we can empathize with them a little ~ missing a loved one so much.

No matter how we feel about the war, we need to support the people who have to be there!
