Well my husband is adjusting to the HWH. Just wished he would have asked to stay in Morgantown until his release date. Another set of rules and bullshit to go through. Really nothing to do all day until he can go job hunting next week. Can't wait for May 4th when he will be released.

Very strict. When he goes to church tomorrow he has to call them and say he's there and then when over he has to call to say he's on his way back. The YMCA is across the street from HWH and when residents go there they have to call and say they are there and call HWH when returning. When he goes for a job on Monday he has to call them when he gets there and call when he is leaving. How do you know how long an interview will take? He won't qualify for any leisure time while there cause he won't be there long enough. They should have just let him come home instead of going there for almost 3 weeks.

Girl I so know the feeling. My man went from Morgantown to a HWH on Dec 19 2006 and in has been drama all the way. Yesterday someone in the neighborhood shot the windows out of the halfway house. They are stuck on the petty stuff. I have even cut my visits short cause they were acting dumb and I didn't want him to get mad and fly off. I told him the other day that him being locked up was better than this. I could see him for 8 hours at a time for 3 days a week. I hope you guys get through this okay. We only have 2 weeks left. Thank God. I really hope his PO isn't an ass.
