To be honest, I MIGHT seriously consider such a proposal! That is very out of character for me, but love can make you do things that you NEVER thought you would do! I love Steven so much, and a part of me dies, EVERY day, thinking of him rotting away in that place. I would do just about anything to get him out of there, and bring him home to me, where he would be safe and warm, and most of all, loved and cared for! Even if that meant having to sleep with someone that I thought was repulsive! I don't know whether I would tell my friend, if I knew his/her spouse were cheating. On the one hand, of course it would be VERY difficult to keep a secret like that from her, but on the other, I would be afraid that it might backfire on me. For all I know, she ALREADY knows about the affair! Or, she will decide to forgive him, and I will end up being the "bad guy". What a tough situation to be in! I hope that I NEVER have to make that decision!

Girl, you could have been a little more specific! LOL If it were me, I would spend as much time as I could with loved ones, making memories for them to cherish, memories that would help them through the tough times to come. I would make sure that EVERYONE knew exactly how I felt about them. I would not want to leave anything left unsaid. And then, I think I'd like to take one last family vacation.

This sounds like a bad horror movie! *lol* Well, living where I live now, I wouldn't be TOO worried unless I knew the calls were coming from INSIDE the installation. If they were, I'd call the cops and then I'd go next door and hang out with the neighbors 'til the next day when I could get a handle on the situation.

Well, I can admit that I have some pretty crazy fantasies, so I guess it all would just depend on who I shared them with. If J tried to make me feel ashamed or guilty, I would be seriously upset and would think long and hard about our relationship, but I know he'd never do that. :-) Knowing some of the wild fantasies *I* have, though, if I told them to random people and they tried to make me feel bad about it, I'd just shrug it off and keep doing what I am doing and maybe just think more carefully about who I reveal things to in the future because I know not everyone is gonna agree with the things I like.

find out what i could do... then do what ever it was. ask for a phone call, ask for a special visit, ect. ( Hopefully we wonthave to do all that though)

Welp, lisa.. I reckon i'd thank him for being honest to me. Because that sort of stuff Does happen. Relationships go on in there ju st as normaly as they do with someone that's on the outside. Wish him the best, and go about my bussiness. * that being said, it is not something that i worry about at all* i know him inside out, he is a very strong person, doesn't flip flop like that. Backtracking just a little, I think that him dying or being killed in prison is always something that is in the back of our heads as our worst fear, so the best possible thing you can do is TALK about it with him, allow him to share any fears or worries with you, and actually discuss what he would want you to do if that did happen. It IS scary, though. I'm not really sure what I would do without him, but I know that I would never, ever be the same.

If he had a hickey on him, though, we might have to put that "what wopuld we do if you died?" contingency plan to work, because his ass would be GRASS. He doesn't want me to do that crap out here, so he knows better than to be doing it too! :-P

If he told me he was leaving for another inmate? Well, I'd be heartbroken for sure, but I'd let him go. What else COULD I do? I don't want to keep holding on to a man who doesn't care to hang on to me any longer, REGARDLESS of if he chose to be with another woman OR another man. If I GENUINELY thought he was homosexual, I'd still try to "be there" for him in any capacity I could, as a friend, but as far as going crazy on him and trying to "change" him, nah, I wouldn't.

And if I received a letter from another inmate like that? I'd be mad at the other inmate for sticking his nose in my business, and I'd ask my man what the deal was and trust his explanation. If you can't trust him, then you have NOTHING, so I believe every word that comes out of HIS mouth, and not a single word that comes out of anyone else's.

Oh, and I forgot my what if question. This isn't a what if question, but for those of you who aren't married yet, if and when he gets out, will he be coming home to your house? What would you do if he turned out to be a TOTAL lazy slob? HAHAHA!

Well, Steven and I aren't married, but I would LOVE nothing more than for him to come and live with me, once he were released from prison. :thumbsup:

And he has said that he would be willing to move to Canada, to be with me! :) BUT, there is a BIG huge problem! And that is that people with a criminal record are NOT allowed into Canada. :( He wouldn't even be able to visit me. :cry:

We have discussed our options at length. One possibility is that he could have his parole transfered to a state like Michigan or Ohio, so that we would be MUCH closer to one another, and it would be easier to commute back and forth! OR, I might spend a few months at a time with him, and then come back home, and so on. Royal pain in the ass, but worth it!

My friend and her husband lived in the SAME apartment building, BUT in seperate apartments, for the first six months of their marriage, and she LOVED IT! It's like having the best of both worlds, since we are both VERY independent women, who value our privacy! They would take turns spending the night over at each other's place! So, maybe it can work?? I hope so anyway!

As for what if he is a slob? NO prob! I am one too! LOL It would drive my mom batty though, whenever she came to visit, because she is a total neat freak! :rolleyes: Even though I don't live with her, and haven't for a while now, she bitches at me ALL the time to clean up! LOL
