it's not about getting close to someone, cause you're not. it's easy to think you're getting close to someone because you're having sex with them. but see, that's the illusion, because if you really got close to everyone that you fucked, well... you wouldn't be this lonely, would you?

there's something really basic and biological, i think, about letting someone into your body. you know, there's a certain loss of control that comes with that. sometimes you don't want to be in control. sometimes you just want to lose control.

yeah, i can separate sex and love but i still want the love, you know, cause it's the love that makes you vulnerable. it's the love that makes you hurt and it's the hurt that makes you know that you're still alive.

there's always a door you do not want to open, or a place you don't wanna go, or a question you don't wanna answer, or one word... that you just don't wanna hear because if you do you know you'll never be the same.
