Education is a positive step in prison as well as on the street. One of the problems is an inmate is allowed to study and try to help themselves only to find out once they hit the street their choice of fields is not allowed of x-felons. We had a great inside as well as outside college program in Missouri except you couldn't put it to use on the outside. I read that the old "Walls" at Jeff City, Mo. is closing early 2004. That place has worn many a person out.

That is sad. I attend a college that inmates can attend that is accepted in and out of prison. It is called "Shalom Bible College & Seminary" and it does not cost indigent inmates. And, they can continue learning The Word and witnessing once they are released. :) God Bless,
