Can anyone please explain to my why time seems to slow the closer you get to a visit?! :angry: :confused:

3 hours! Holy hell! PLEASE tell what happened! I'll be down there on Friday and this is EXACTLY what I am fearing!

It was because there were 10 other groups waiting to see people and we were one of the first in, thus the first out.

Tried to finagle considering the distance I came, but, to no avail.

It's never happened before - I've not been silly enough to do a long before - so I expect that was the reason. One of the guards basically said as much to me before I left (I think he actually felt bad all things considered - yes ladies, you heard me right, I think he FELT BAD!! We are making progress!!).

Lesson learned - no question of that.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!

oh dang Elen, i just read this post.. that crap sucks.. thats awfull that yall only got 3 hours to visit!! this last visit for us was crowded like crazy too for some reason! we had never seen so many people.
maybe next time will go better for yall!!! i do hate to hear that yalls visit was so short, but atleast yall got to spend some time together<sigh>
i do wish they would get a bigger visiting room, or even have somewhere outside for them to visit.. there visiting room is so small.
