Here is a new chitter chatter thread for the spring......

How are you all doing?

I love the colours of spring but hate the pollen from the flowers that are bursting out all over! Anyone else suffer from hayfever (or allergies)? :sneeze:

I am expecting just one Easter Egg on Sunday, but will probably buy three. Do they do Easter Eggs in the US?

For some of our European members - do you have different traditions at this time of the year for Spring/Easter celebrations?

Let's hear what you are all up to - not because I am nosey or anything!!

It's so nice here, for once it isn't raining and the sun is out :) I don't think I'm getting any easter eggs though. However anyday now I'm going to have a little niece or nephew *excited*

Well, we boil eggs and color them ourselves here in the US.

Allergies??? OMG I am a mess. My nose is split open inside, I sneeze all the time. I had Lasix Surgery last summer and this pollen is making my eyes horribly dry and my vision blurry. I am putting eye drops in 4-6 times a day.

But, I love Spring!!! There really must be something wrong with me. Imagine that!!!

Hope you all have a nice Easter....

It's more like summer here, 85 degrees. Florida's wonderful. Sunrise service on the beach this Sunday, can't wait! I've only been down here a little over a month, and it's just me and God right now! Everyone have a wonderful Easter!

Hey Rach, its Autumn over here!!! :)

Well, if would choose to live in an upside down counrty, what do you expect?

Tracy, your nose/eye thing sounds pretty painful. Ouch!!

Bondsai - Easter service on the beach sounds lovely!! Take some pics?

Pinki - do you mean you are waiting for a birth? I got a bit confused!

Sugar - yes, you're right, despite the sneezing it is so relaxing to be working with flowers and plants. It is good for you!

Well, it was 76 degrees here yesterday (tuesday) and today it's supposed to SNOW!! It's not supposed to warm up until next week sometime.

Welcome to Ohio! Just wait 5 minutes the weather will change.

It has put a damper on putting any flowers out yet. I don't usually do it until the first part of May anyway. I was rushing Spring (Autumn) I suppose.

I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter....

Don't eat to much Chocolate or Candy...

I work 8 to 2 on Easter, and then I am coming home and taking a nap.

Did anyone have anything that they did every year for Easter as a kid? We did and I still miss it.

Well it was 70 degree's here today and suppose to be beautiful the rest of the week. Just the opposite of what we usually have.

We are going to dye eggs then hide them. My little one still can't get it through her head that not all eggs have babies in them........LOL

I am taking her to a easter egg hunt Saturday and of course the Easter Bunny will hop hop hop over year with a basket of goodies.

Gosh thought I was done with this stuff years ago..............LOL

I just want to sleep..........:D

My Easter wish to everyone is that they find love, peace and happiness during the upcoming Holy Days. We should all take time out over the weekend to say a special prayer for all of the men and women who will not be home with their families, for this special time. Pray that they all have Jesus in their hearts, and those that don't will find him.

HAPPY EASTER!

It's not Spring here either!! It is 27 now! It's supposed to get in the 50's for one day, then back down in the 20's and 30's with snow. Our winter started late, but for Pete's Sake this is crazy. Can we say Global Warming???

Congratulations to the mommy and new baby!! How exciting. It was a year ago that I was awaiting the birth of my grandson. He will be 1 on April 20. He is a little wild man. lol He has 7 teeth and crawls like the dickens. He has taken steps at "school" (shhh it's really daycare but he goes to school like grandma" but here at home crawls. He is still under 20 lbs. Just a little guy but I love him so much.

The weather has been crazy here. We had 74 degree weather and the next day the winds were so strong I thought I was going to end up in Kansas. I was working last night with the strong winds. I was praying so hard that no trees would break and hit cars. I had to pull a big branch out of one street and then what seems like half a tree fell on the other side of campus so I was thankful that it missed all cars in the parking lot. There was a city counsel meeting and those people seem to get so angry anyway...I had one report to do because of stuff being stolen. My boss is having a meeting with the police department tomorrow and going to have the get pictures for a lineup and ask the girls that saw the guy in their rooms. Why their doors in the dorm were not locked is beyond me. Two girls got a good look at him. Well if what we are being told is correct it is a guy that just moved into the dorms and is the son of a prominent attorney here. If it turns out to be him we are going to have the police department search the room and that way the attorney can't say things weren't done right. It seems there is something going all the time with my job. It keeps it interesting I guess.
My computer is broke but I am getting another one Saturday. I am thankful for that. I have a laptop computer here that I checked out at the library. It's sure not like my own.
Tomorrow I am turning in an application for habitat for humanity. Please say a prayer that something comes through. The guy called me tonight. I had been trying to get a hold of him but he has been busy on one of the building sites. I told him I was so afraid I was going to miss the date. He said....ohhhh nooooo we are waiting for you bring it on up. I did go to the meeting and was talking to this guy about the shape my house is in and blah blah blah...then during the meeting I find out he is one of the board members that helps decide who will get houses. So I am saying extra prayers. I think this house has mold of some sort. A year ago there was flooding. Well when we moved in I was going through boxes and found a newspaper and why I still had it is unknown. Well it was a picture of here where I live only showing people pushing a car in waste deep water....this is Idaho...not somewhere that things like that happen. It was just that we got so much rain all at once and it flooded because the storm drains couldn't take that much water. Well anywaythe picture was taken from what looks like my front yard towards the houses across the street. So I know that if there was waste deep water that there is most likely mold growing somewhere. The floors were just replaced here so I don't know what is under them. Anyway to cut the babbling down since we have moved in here (October) we have all been sick with allergies. This past week I thought I was dying. I did get some Clariton today at the student health office at the college. She gave me one to take and then gave me 15 more. I was out of the house for a while tonight and now that I am back home the stuffiness, puffy watery eyes and all that other garbage that goes with allergies is back. Ok I am ending this book. lol sorry to babble so much!!

Here in Minnesota the snow has "mostly" melted after winter went away for an extended weekend but decided to return for an encore. Spring releases all of the dust, pollen, and snow mold that has been frozen away for months, a delight for anyone with allergies.

My eyes are so hungry for green. And I have to go out and polish my motorcycle every now and then, just to remind myself that we'll be out on the road soon enough.
