I missed it too but I look forward to talking with you.. I am from cali but I just moved to texas in aug. of 2001. So maybe I can offer any thing I know about the prisons there.

Yes I miss texas but my heart is in tx so I had to follow it. Enjoy it for me. I am coming for a visit in Nov. My son's dad is getting out out Fire Camp up in Jamestown. 2 years of lockdown is hard on a father/son relationship, so he is looking forward to the reunion of his son and himself.

jonni-i was in cali for much too short a time-if i could afford to live there, would be there now-unfortunately, you don't make the big bucks in social work...but then there is always the lottery....

shortie i have a friend who lives in jamestown and a girlfiend whos ole man just got transfered there from a.s.p (avenal state) and believe me sherri i do understand the cost thing but been born and raised in cali so i guess im just kinda used to it i think that if the laws dont change or sumtin we wont be here must longer after jason gets home! cali is just to strict on the wrong items (in most cases) like the taxes on smokes and all the pot busts but yet we go ahead and let the meth labs and drunk drivers go (it seems like) to name a few anyway wont go there.....you know what they say about friends and talking poltics or religon lol=) jonnigirl

I am about five miles from Chino Institution for Men (CIM) but my hubby has just been moved to Corcoran S.H.U. from Wasco but rumor has it he is on his way to the S.H.U. at the BAY!! ....I hope they don't take him that far away.

I'm from Mountain View and my boyfriend is in San Quentin. He was just sent there from County on a probabation violation. I'm hoping that when they mainline him, he will either stay at SQ or somewhere close.
