It usually takes 3-4 weeks from the time you apply to have visits approved but it depends on when the VRB meets at the Institution your loved one is at and if you have any kind of record it could take a little longer because they want to know the details of your conviction. Hopefully you don't have to worry about that...It took an extra 4 wks to get my visits approved because they had to get detail of my record.
