I am looking for someone who has a loved one at Hamilton A & I. My husband wants to transfer there and I am looking for some information on how it is. I have talked to one of the guards and she say's it's a good place. I would like to hear from someone who knows the other side of things. If I can get him there, it will as close to home as we can get for a while. Any information would be great.
Thanks,
PJ

I was imprisoned at Hamilton for 14 months. I instigated the lawsuit by the soiuthern center for human rights (which failed.) I am a former UAB teacher and I am a publishing author.I will answer any question about the hole called Hamilton A&I. Am trying to help "vicky." Very hard to use this strange site

I was there for 14 months and instigated the recent lawsuit against hamilton. I caution you that medical care is very poor. no fultime doctor on staff. George Lyunn

How is the treatment there at Hamilton? Is it just the medical care that is bad? I know it is air conditioned. And it is close to home for us. How are the guards and how is visitation? I know some people that work there but no one who has been a prisoner there. Would like to hear more about your stay there.
