I have read most of the threads on Bryan, many are old and have had no responses or very little. Does anyone have more current information on the issues of self surrendering or job programs and such? Any info would help many of us that are entering in the near future. Thanks!

I just got home after a 6 month sentence at Bryan. It is really not bad. When do you ss? I did and really it was not a bad experience at all. You will change into their clothes and send yours home, answer questions, see the P.A. take your picture and fingerprints again. Then you will be assigned to a unit. I was in B-2. AS for job programs, they are starting a program with Blinn College in June, but everyone has already filled that college program. Jobs are everywhere. I worked in the unit, there is the kitchen, compound, landscape, faculities,. and cosmo.
DO NOT BE SCARED YOU WILL BE FINE.

Hi,
I have not rec'd my designation letter yet, but was wanting to ask some questions -
What is the daily schedule like? Is there a set time to wake up, go to bed? Or does one set their own according to work, classes etc.?
What kinds of classes are currently available? Is there a fee for each?
I've read plenty on Bryan - but would like to hear recent /updated info.
Thanks so much- In case I go there - your words /information have so much meaning.
