I'm curious, this summer will be my first visiting at Morgantown, and I would like to know how leinent are they on summer attire? Do they allow summer dresses?? Open toed sandals?? If anyone has any information that can help, it would be appreciated. I want to make sure that i'm prepared for the summer visits. I would hate to be turned away on account of what I was wearing. Thank you.

Go to the bop.gov website and choose fci morgantown and they have a dress code available. You must stick to it whatever season. They aren't very loose on it. It was pouring rain this weekend and they turned away people who had on hoods. And when it was snowing if your winter jacket had a hood you had to take it back to your car.

Oh I know that, I was there when they made people take their coats back to their cars. I know on the site they said no flip flops...is that all open toed sandals?? Or just flip flops?? If anyone has visited in the summer before, i would just like to know what their experiences were. Both for clothing and shoes??

My brother just reported 03/12/07 so I haven't experienced and summer visits yet. They are on lock down today for some reason. Our grandfather died today and i called the chaplin to let him know. LJ had to beg the chaplin to allow him to call home. He said he didn't know when he would be able to call again since they are on lockdown.
