I know this sounds like a stupid question! I read one of the posts about the rules for Green Haven CF visits and it said no double clothing. I assumed it meant like no jackets or something...but then I read this other post where people were talking about inappropriate touching going on under big jackets. So now I'm confused -will someone tell me what double clothing is? Green Haven is a two hour drive for me, if they deny my visit because of my clothes...man listen...

like a sweater and a blouse-jacket and shirt-I know I could not wear a blazer into GM--or any other 2 layers-

Jackets, blazers, sweaters are all allowed at GH, but the shirt you have on underneath it must be acceptable on it's own as well. They don't want you taking off your long-sleeved shirt (for instance) once you go through processing and just be wearing a tank top or something see-through or low cut. Be real careful with white!!! And for good measure, bring an extra outfit just in case. I travel about 2 hours too, and I don't wanna play around when I'm processing, ya know? Straps on dresses are't allowed there, but they were fine at Clinton Annex.(as you can tell by my avatar);) GH wants sleeves. Dressing in the summer is tough there. But it is what it is.

When Jay was @ Greenhaven I was turned away more times than I could count!Lol NO double clothing, that always seemed to be what screwed me over! No cami's under shirts, etc. Like goldenglove said they are really strict about white! I had on a 100% thick cotton tee one day and the c.o. tired telling me she could see my bra...DEFFFF. couldn't-but I wasn't gonna argue!And summer is tough there also...NO white capris, even if they are not see-through, they won't allow them!Good luck! Bring extra clothing just in case!

Some days they are really picky there because once, they were even picking people who had on undershirts.

Ladies, Greenhaven has been a fashion show lately-they have been making girls change left and right all overthe place. I've seen women turned away and I really couldnt tell why. be on point bringing the extra clothing-they are not having it lately especially on the weekends. i go up every weekend and its been getting stricter and stricter as the temperature rises. Be careful ladies.
