Does an inmate not qualify for a care package, if he has been in prison less than 6 months? We were told this by the c.o. in the guard shack on Sat. I have asked many questions about these packages and i have never saw it mentioned on my post or anyone else's, Can someone clarify this for me.?? Sorry so many questions, but we definately want to get started on his pack.if he gets to have one. Also ,it was said that they have to earn privelages 4 them, true?? Thanks for any help

It is totally up to the individual facility. They do what they want to do.

i would just call down to which ever prison he is in.. ask for the warden.. and ask him your questions.. in MY expereince i have found that is the best way to get a "true" answer

The list I got said 4 months with no discipline. 1 year with no Rule 38 or 29 discipline. What are these rules?

It differs from package to package, but generally 4 to 6 months with no citations or disciplinaries.
