:cry: I just wanted to share my story and see if anyone has a loved one at Bibb CF,that was injured in the riot,they had last week.My brother said that it was the scariest thing,he had ever experienced,he witnessed inmates with locks tied to clothing,and men being hit in the head,and saw one man's eyeball hanging out,:( there were appr.10 inmates removed by ambulance & 20 or so treated at the infirmiry,they were on lockdown for a couple of days,he had a "friend" he'd met there,and he was one of the ones taken,and hasn't been seen since, he is concerned about how a few of the guys are doing,and so i wanted to see if anyone here,has a loved one in Bibb and if so,are they ok? To the families and loved ones,of the injured,or possibly deceased inmates,my sympathy goes out to you, if you have any comments,please reply, as we are trying to find the families of the ones,that he knew.

This is the first that I have heard about a riot at Bibbs, and I know that my husband has not heard it at limestone, because he spent four years there and met some pretty cool guys that he consider friends, I really wonder if I should even share that with him since I know so little about it, was it in any paper? If so which one? Maybe I could pull it up.

My husband was stabbed in the side during the whole thing. He was just transfered back there from Huntsville (where he had to go to court) And then i get a phone call saying baby don't be mad but i was stabbed today. I thought that was a crazy statement, but he was more worried that i would be mad about him getting into trouble for him hitting the guy back. But he is doing ok they stiched him up and he said that besides from being sore he is ok. But he did say it got bad and he was trying to get to his cell. So I am like you my heart goes out to all the familes of the ones that was involved.

I ran into one of the guards at the store over the weekend and he told me and Kenny about it, said it was the worse he'd seen.

These type of things are going to happen as long as they are crowded and understaffed.

If you have a loved one a BCC i suggest you write, email call the governor and voice let him know that we are VERY concerned.

I agree with what Denise said...also, I can't find anything in the newspaper about this, I would suggest maybe even writing your local papers..

Hey,brittanygail,i just wanted to say that i am sorry about your husband,but am glad that he is ok, was he in dorm a,by chance? my bro.was,but he was just transferred to crimebill dorm right around that time, i know that my bro.doesn't bring much up,he's a keep to himself person,but when he told us this,we are very worried,i am thankful,that he make it to his cell,he said he balled up on his bunk,like a little baby,
To other posters,thank you for your input,and no ,i didn't figure that they would publicize this, so i am willing to do my part to get it out there,for the sake of all the men,who just want to go home,i know sometimes the inmate gets caught up in the fight and doesn't have a choice, as was probably the case with brittaneys hisband......
