Hello Alabama and all of PTO,
Its that time of year for Our spring KO Retreat to be held May 18-20, 2007.
I would love to show a support from Alabama for Prayer Warriors and Colored Shields for the weekend.
For those of you unfamiliar Kairos Outside is (part of Kairos International Org.) that offers unconditional support and love to women 20 and over who have loved one incarcerated or they themselves have been incarcerated to attend a 3 day weekend retreat free of charge. To come together with other women like themselve( guests and team alike) to learn about support and how God loves them and their families.
Part of this requires us to get people from outside the weekend to pray for the quests and to show them that lots of people are doing just that. Pray times are in 30 minutes increments starting Friday May 18th @3pm and run thru Sunday afternoon @4pm. Another parts is Coloring Weekend Shields, especially by children. We have churches and Sunday classes and preschool classes from all over the US and even forigen countries involve.
And I would like to put up a Poster with Alabama PTO on the Wall and an additional one with PTO in General too!
If you are interested in pray only post here, if you want Shields PM me and I can email them to you and also the Prayer sheet if you want them.
Remember part of Kairos is confidentiality...What you see here, what you say here, and what you hear here...Stays here. So you can sign first name and city, screen name and group, kids..1st name and age and I will not give out email addys to anyone.
It has been said that Wardens in Prisons from states who hold Kairos Inside for the men and women prisons and those same states have Kairos Outside family attendies, the inmate return to prison is at an alltime low!
We at Kairos are a non-profit organization that depends totally on donations and our members are all volunteers donating their time to this Ministry.
Won't you donate your prayers for this weekends and time to Color some Shields.
