Ok..... I know I am not the brightes person but these firking rules and alloted time frames to file this or file that is about to make me go CRAZY!!!!! Kris filed an appeal back in May of this year, we got a letter saying that his appeal was denied, so he went to jail cuz he had nowhere else to go. Then on Friday of last week I get a packet from the first district appellate project saying that his appeal has reached this level and now I have to send him these forms in jail to fill out...... My question is this is this worth our time?? Does anyone know . Thank you:confused:

Tigger,

Without knowing the details, I would fill out the papers & send them in. It can't hurt. Worse thing is it's denied & your right back where your at no harm no foul. Appeals are highly risky to begin with, NEVER, NEVER get your hopes up regarding appeals. You file them & hope for the best but the fact is almost all appeals fail. So you got nothing to lose give it a shot, just don't get excited about it.---Ken

Thank you Ken. I am trying not to and I am waiting to hear back from the Director of the First District Appeallate Project, they said that if the appeal is still depending then they will let me know. I knew nothing about the law before all of this with Kris happened and now I am finding out just how crooked our legal system is and how political it can become. I guess what I have always been told You have to have money in order to be innocent, or something like that.
