:confused: Is there some type of inmate lookup for Toronto? I have a friend that lives in the eglington/weston area and he always keeps in touch with me now all of a sudden his cell is cut off and I can't find him...Am just curious if theres a way I can find out if he's incarcerated..Thanks in advance:)

unfortunately we dont have the same resources here when it comes to inmate look up as you do in the US, you could try to write a letter to one of the federal facilities here in ontario and if hes in the system it will be forwarded to where hes at. hope that helps you :)

if he is in a provincial facility you will be able to find out by calling any jail and asking for the records department. it would be very helpful if you have your friend's date of birth and full name and correct spelling. The Toronto Jail's phone number is 416-325-8600 (I think; I haven't had to call there in years). I think the Metro East Jail is 416-750-3515. like the poster above me said, if your friend is in a federal facility you will not be able to find out any information over the telephone.
