When your partner was sentanced in court?

We thought it was going to be ajourned so I just wore my jeans. I was so annoyed when they said it was all going to happen that afternoon. I would have gotten dressed up.

I wore beige dress slacks, brown cowboy boots, a thin beige jumper and a fake burberry shawl. How I remember that, I have no clue.

I wore a black long skirt, a top and a jacket.

I wore a black skirt, top, boots and jacket. Looked much like i do when I go to work.

I wore tidy casual clothes. The best I had as it happened. He wore his best suit.

The agrieved party and his wife turned up looking like they didn't have two brass farthings to rub together. Nothing could have been further from the truth. If I'd known that I'd have worn something scruffy and told DH to do the same.

I felt really awful when DH went to court, because like I said, we were told it would be adjourned for another week or so, the night before DH asked me to cut his hair for him and I was tired and really couldnt be bother and I told him it would be better to wait to the night before sentencing because if he was to go away at least I could make it really short to last a while (not thinking he would be gone 15mths) Then the next day he was take and all the way home I was kicking myself because I let him down and here he was sitting in a cell with hair that needed to be cut.
LOL Things you think are important and they are the stupidest things.

I wore black dress pants, layered white and turquoise singlets and a turquoise silk/angora cardi. I don't know how i remember that either.

I have bought a black skirt, now just need to find a nice top. Its funny but with everythign on my mind the highest thing is what to wear :confused:

I think if you know in advance, it is nice to try and make a good impression with the magistrate/judge whatever.Neat,tidy clothes would have to be a winner. I am sure you will look just fine, and fingers crossed that it all goes well for you and your partner.

You know what else is weird about what I wore? I must subconsciously think of it as "my good luck outfit" (though this year has been pure misery), because I wore it to the job interview where I am now. How bizzare that I remember that also!
