I thought it would be cool to list some of our favorite discount fabric and/or sewing accessory places all in one place. If you know of a place that has good values or hard to find items then feel free to list them here.

They have bolts of all kinds of fabrics including: cotton, rayon, polyester, lycra, and upholstery. They also have loose buttons, felt
and bags of scrap fabric for like 25-50 cent a bag (great for patchwork or quilting). They have fabric by the yard as cheap as 25, 50, and 75 cents a yard and they also have dozens of bolts of fabrics for 99 cents a yard!

They carry fabrics (some as low as $1.00 a yard or less) of all kinds, including special occasion, buttons, zippers and trims for as low as 10 cents each and the last time i went they even had pillow forms. They carry lace, and bridal trims. They are a really cool store although you have to look through the stacks of shelves for what you want but it is worth it.

Walmart always has fabric for $1 a yard!

Of course, I don't know why I left them out! They have a very good selection of the $1 and $2 fabrics...
