Does anyone know in general what the rules, hours, days for visiting are at HMCC? Any information is appreciated.

I am new to Prison Talk, but I think I can answer your questions. Yes, I visit my brother there. If I am not mistaken it depends on the last number in his DOC number. I was told that if it is even he can be visited on Saturday and odd would be on Sunday. My brother's number is an even number and I go on Saturday. I have been times, and I have had very pleasant visits with him. The only thing I wish they would do different is allow photos to be taken. You can take in quarters to get food and drinks. Bring only your driver's license. No cell phones, no digital cameras, etc. Oh, they also have "Free" visitation days on the holidays. As far as I know it is when the government offices are closed you can visit that day for free and it won't take away from your normal visit day. I have to drive hours one way to visit, but it is well worth the drive to see him. hope this helps you out. God Bless!
