Today I received 2 more letters. This man does like to write letters and I love getting them. (sshhh he doesn't know that I mailed 5 cards over the weekend and another letter today)
He was so excited that he couldn't wait to tell me that I have been approved for his visitors list. That is very exciting news. The only problem is getting from Idaho to Florida. He said the next step is winning the lottery. His spirits were pretty high in the letters I got today. I love it when he's smiling and excited about things. He did mention looking at the "window" knowing I am just on the other side. He's such a sweetheart and so caring. Positive letters from him always make my day. Especially when my day started out so crappy. :D :D :D

Awwwwwwwww Patti that is so nice. It is nice to get a nice positive, upbeat letter, then when you realize where the person who wrote that letter is, it just makes it better.

If they can feel like that being on the row, then it sure seems to make all of our BIG problems small.

Tracy, has there been any news yet? I am waiting to hear GOOD news. You and John are constantly in my thoughts and prayers!!!!! Praying that the Governor has a heart!!!

He has been such a God send to me!! I ran by the post office this morning on my way to work and mailed a letter. I brought 6 cards with me, all addressed and all that. I will write in each one and get them all sent out today on my way home. Love sending him letters knowing that it brings a smile to his face. He is so excited that I was approved for visiting but it's a long ways from Idaho to Florida. Somehow it will happen. We are very positive that we will be in the visiting park one day together. :)
Well back to work and then back to the office to finish the cards. I have a feeling he is the most spoiled man on the row down there when it comes to mail. "almost" everytime I think about him I write a letter. One smile a day is my goal for him. :)

it's always so nice to get an upbeat letter. Yes, knowing where they are and what they are going through makes all of our problems seem so slight. If my letters light up his days/nights (since he gets his mail in the evening) like his do me...then life is great!!! :) :) He certainly is one awesome man. I have a break between classes today, I get done at 11:45 and don't work until 3 so I will have time to sit in the library and write. The past couple of days have been so hectic around here. I look forward to that quiet time that I get to spend with him. Writing letters is our "together" time.

Oh, Gee Patti.....John was granted the Reprieve last week I think. I had a couple days off after that, and I was toast. So, he has a reprieve until September 18th. I have Faith he will be coming home. I have dreamt 2 times in the last 4 days that he was here. I have never done that. Thanks for caring!!! You are awesome!!!
