:eek: Husband is at Millington...25 yrs together and now this..they send him to another state. Have so much trouble trying to get over there to see him with my daughters and grandson. He's been gone since Jan. and we have only seen him once. Way too depressing to see him and walk away not knowing when you'll see him again Thank God for the phone calls. He just now got orientation started. Still so confused by this whole prison process thought it might help to talk to others with family there.

My boyfriend just left for Millington this week. I have no idea when I will hear from him and it is killing me!

Millington is not a bad place but it will take awhile to get him situated. My hubby was there for 2 weeks before he finally was able to call home. You know about how they do things there? He pays for the calls home out of his commisary money....gotta get #'s approved.

Are you seriouse? 2 weeks? I can't handle that. Every day I watch the phone waiting for it to ring. It's only been 4 days! I might think he's forgotten about me in 2 weeks.

Will this ache in my heart fade at all? It feels so sad.

My bad... he did try to call me 2 days after getting there but my cell phone company was on the fritz that day....was 2 weeks b4 I actually talked to him. Now he calls 4 or 5 times a week depending on how much he has on his books. We've been together 25 yrs. and only been seperated a little over 2 months and I know my heartache gets a little more painful knowing I have at the very least 4 yrs b4 he gets to come home. I have 2 daughters and a 2 yr old grandson missing him too...not to mention all our friends.

He's been there a week and a few days. He wasn't able to call me until 1 week and 1 day because as soon as he got there they put him in the hole for a week to get him off his meds. He called me two days in a row which was sweet. The phone cuts off after 15 minutes, which goes by in a flash! Every 5 minutes a recording comes on that says, "you are calling from a federal prison." NO shit? Everytime it came on we would just crack up. It's nice to know he can still laugh. I miss him like crazy, it's insane. I love that boy....

alright well im freshly new.. my ole man went in today and i have heard from him like 3 times today.. whats up with people bringing in there cell phones.. i have heard so far how laidback it is there.. but im just wanting some info on this place and how to visit and all of that good stuff.. can anyone like help me out here...

You should tell your "ole man" to stay off any cell phone. That's not good!

My hubby has been @ Millington 6 months now and it's not getting any easier....seems like it's getting harder.....miss him so much.

Millington is not a bad place. Weights, track to walk and plenty to keep busy. Food is not bad and the guards leave you alone. Also, you can work on the naval base which gets you away from the camp every day.

Well it's been 8 months for us now and he's finally in a 2 man cubicle and is working on the base but this presents other problems. Myself and the girls and grandbaby spent a couple weeks homeless but we finally got a place. But living in Arkansas we have had trouble getting over to see him. Working on the base he now has weekends off so he has nothing to keep his mind off the guys getting called for visits. This bothers me since it's been 2 months since my last visit and I know I'm lonesome for him , I know he gets homesick too. Just missed our oldest girls 21st birthday and our 23rd anniversary. Millington isn't so bad I guess but just so far away.
