Can anyone tell me if you can take any personnal items in when you visit an inmate at eastering? And my friend told me that i have to sign in as his sister because only his immediate family along with one female friend and one male friend is allowed per visit- is that true or is he justing lieing to me?

First of all, my boyfriend is at Easterling and I have visited several times...

You cannot wear any jewelry, must have on closed toed shoes, no capri's, no blouses that button up or no v-neck or cleavage showing. Dresses must be worn with slip, no buttons up the front, no wrap around skirts. You can not take anything in with you - only one key and license.

As for being his sister or girlfriend.....are you on his visiting list? How did h list you? Because that is the way you sign in.

he list me as his sister. I guess because he's married and claim it's hard for him to get a divorce. Do you have any info about inmate getting a divorce while in prison?

If he has you listed as a sister, then I suppose you'd sign in as that. I would be very careful about the visitation, though. You are allowed a hug & kiss before & after visitation. The c.o.'s are in there when you do that, of course. From time to time, the c.o.'s that you sign in with come in to the visitation hall. I'd be very careful as to not let anyone see ya'll being very "affectionate" as it may draw suspicions & raise questions. I'm not saying it would...I'm just putting it out there for you to think about:thumbsup: .
