I just found out my husband has been transfered from CIM to CRC. Anyone lnow what the difference is? Also he says he just had to sign a paper from CRC & that his release date is different by 5-7 days... why? It all my wk out same though cause get this (how dumb) OC put a hold on him so that he can be trans to them after because he missed a court date while IN chino which the court was informed of. Question: how long to go to court in OC he says he thinks they only have 3 days.? Also will his PO be informed so he doesent go after him & go round & round AGAIN? Thankx

Myhbs4u... CIM = Chino, CRC = California Rehabilitation Center, Norco. I do not know why they moved him, or gave him 5-7 more days. As for OC wanting him, you might be able to go to court on his behalf, show the judge paperwork of him being in prison at the time of his court date and his release date. The judge will do one of 3 things: Say oh well and make him deal with it when he comes home and he will explain it himself, grant him a continuance for him to take care of it when he comes home, or dismiss the case. It is going to depend on what it was for. If it is a traffic sitation, infraction, the judge might dismiss it. Gryphon might be able to help with this more because he is a lawyer. You might want to PM him.

Girl - they have been recalcing everyones dates lately - mine has moved 3 times in the past few weeks. If he already has a hold then he for sure will go out to OC - to go to court, unless they release the hold. His PO MIGHT be informed, but if you know who his PO is - you should call him and tell/ask him about what is going on. We had a friend that was supposed to go to OC on release, they sent him up to Santa Barbara (we still don't know WHY) and then SB didn't know what to do with him! I called his PO and he got him pulled back down to OC the next day, and out the following.

I thought you would be smiling by now wasnt he already to be out? Yeah I dont know why he was transfered but isnt CRC only level 1 & 2? Or am I wrong? I have no idea who the po is but doesnt it make sence that if CRC really doesnt release him & send to OC that he will know? I know obvious isnt always what they see. Is there anything he can do on his end to make sure the po is aware of this so we dont go in circles & they dont issue warrant for not cheching in with po in 24hrs?
