After 10 months of trying to get my husband in to see a cardiologist, they finally took him to Tucson for an angiogram....and did a triple bypass! He had a heart attack in 4th Ave Jail on Easter Sunday last year, and they didn't even send a nurse in to see him. I have been trying to get him to see a cardiologist since he went to Eyman in June. He has been taking nitro pills since June, but couldn't get to see a cardiologist. Finally in december he had a video visit with a Tuscon cardiologist. The doctor said he needed to come to Tucson for an angiogram, but it took another two months to get him down there.

When they did the angiogram, they immediately checked him into the hospital and did a triple bypass. He is doing fantastic! They brought him back to Eyman only 12 days after surgery. They kept his bunk for him, so he is back with the guys who have looked out for him for months. I am so relieved.

I can't say enough good things about Mr Greeley in Eyman Medical. He has been my rock! When I called to see if Jack was back from his angiogram so I could visit him, they sent me to Greeley. He checked and told me he had had a bypass. When I came down off the ceiling, and became coherent again, the told me he was doing fine and that I could call any time to check on him. He kept me posted on his condition, and his moves from the Tucson Heart Hospital to St Mary's Hospital, and then to RinCon. He was only at RinCon 2 days and then came back to Eyman. It was a very stressful time for me because of course I wanted to BE THERE! But Mr Greeley made it bearable.

The only hangup, was that I made an appointment to go visit him in RinCon on Thursday morning. I drove all the way to Tucson, leaving at 3:30 am. When I arrived, Jack had shipped back to Eyman two hours earlier!

But he is doing great, and I am a happy camper again!:D

Wow, I can only imagine how stressful that must have been for you. I'm glad you had that direct line of communication to get updates, etc. He may have been "just doing his job," but to you and your family it meant the world. I hope your husband continues on the road to recovery! Y'all are in my prayers!
