:o MY UNDERSTANDING ON THE VISITATION IS THAT THE INMATE CAN HAVE ONE FEMALE VISITOR OTHER THAN HIS FEMALE SIBLINGS,IF THIS IS TRUE WHAT TYPE OF "PROOF" IS REQUIRED TO BE SHOWN THAT THE FEMALE(s) ARE IN FACT THE SIBLING? ALSO DOES THE SAME RULE APPLY FOR STEP OR HALF SISTERS?

Yes the same applies for step or half sisters. When he does his visitation list he tells them of one female friend and any sisters or brothers he has. If they ask for proof of being a sibling it would be a birth cert. becasue they will ask about his mother, father and if he has a step mother or step father.

you are welcome....This is alot to take in all at once. Usually what happens is when he gives the names / b'days / soc. sec. numbers the DOC will do background checks of everyone on his visitation list and i think that is how they put it all together.
