There are both male and female CO's at FPC Bryan. In the time I have been visiting I have found the vast majority to be fairly descent folks. All you need to remember is to try and give every one the respct you would like to have for yourself and listen twice as much as you talk.

In reguards to the inmates, about 25% are really good women, 25% really confused, and 50% trying to decide if they are confused or good :D . Seriously, FPC Bryan is a good place consdering what it is.

In it's inception it was a very prestigious Private School.

Hi, I just released from Brayn on 2/06.. No all the guards are not all males and the gym is a good size with many machines to work with., They offer many excersing classes too and have a track.

Hello. I will ss on April 7th. This site has helped me very much with information I would not otherwise have found. I am anxious to get there (sort of) and start serving my sentence so that I will be that much closer to coming home. There are many helpful people here so ask questions. I spent 1 year at Bryan FPC. How much time are you looking at? Do not be afraid! The hardest part is missing your family.The food is not bad at all.The beds are not great but you can keep an eye out for an empty bed when people leave and sometimes grab a decent mattress.The guards are mostly friendly and they will talk.but I think they are warned about talking too much to us...Get yourself into a routine , like classes, workout, exercise and you will feel fine. its just a setback. thats all.any questions. just ask.:)

what does intransit mean. i have not received any papers to ss. but i check the site BOP.gov and it state intransit for me.
