Anyone interested in getting together on a Saturday afternoon - sometime soon. We should all try to support one another, get to know each other and help each other through these rough times. I am sure there are others out there who are alone in their struggle, children of incarcerated parents need extra support and compassion, families need help from others- we can struggle alone or work together to help everyone get thru this with community support from those who understand what it is like to have a loved in prison.

It would have to be a late afternoon or evening get-together, because about half uf us have visitation on Saturdays.

Our visits alternate between Saturday and Sunday, but if it's on a Saturday I don't have visit, or if it's in the evening, I'd like to get together! :)

Count me in. Evening would be better for me as well. It's not like I have a hot date or anything!! :)

I too would like to be included. I have Saturday visits so would like it to be late Saturday or on Sunday. I hope we can do this as I feel that we have a real nice bunch of people here who are supportive and helpful and to know them personally would be great.:)

Count me in also. Anytime Saturday or Sunday would be fine since my fiance is in Oklahoma.

Ok, give me a few days and I will post a date that we can get together- and a place too of course. Hopefully we can at least get to know each other a little better, in person and support one another in times of crisis or whenever needed. It always helps to put a face to the names..

I go to visit Sundays...but Sat. I'm out of town so that I CAN visit on Sunday...oh well...maybe someday.

This is a great idea, so let's really try to work something out. inever know what day I am visiting it is in their control right now while he is in CB6. But later on Saturday's seems to be something that works for most people. Let's try for next Saturday the 30th and see how many people have a real interest, you can PM me. Well our visits are on Tues, thurs, and Sunday. So please if something is planned out let me know.

I would love to do this but I live in Prescott. Haven't even gotten our visitation forms yet. but, if anyone in my area is interested and can't make it, pm me and maybe we can set something up up this way. I think that kind of support would be great - to meet and talk & all.

Wow. Where would the meeting be? I'm not sure if I could do something or not, but it sounds great! My husband is at Perryville (Goodyear) and I live in the valley now.

Only if you guys would want me to come :) I could and would Love to... I dont have visits yet, and ATM Im not working, so anyday is okay...
