What You Can And Cannot Send

You can send the following:

You can send letters and pictures to offenders. The pictures cannot have nudity and there can be no drawings on the outside of the envelopes.
You cannot send paper, envelopes, or books to offenders. The mailroom will only accept such items from a vendor, such as OfficeMax, Amazon.com, Staples, Hastings, etc. If you are sending writing pads, make sure the pads are glue top. Try not to send a huge amont of envelopes at a time as the offenders have to stay in the mailroom and write their name and number on each envelope.

Direction to the Middleton Unit

8 miles northeast of Abilene in Jones County

From San Antonio - take I-10W to Junction. Take a right and keep going until you hit I-20 just past Winter, TX. Drive through town on Treadwell and turn right on Aldine and you will see the prison signs.

From Dallas/Fort Worth - Take I-20 West to mile marker 288. Exit right and go toward Albany. After about 2 miles you will turn left on 1082 and go about 5 miles till you see the signs for the units. Turn right and it's about a mile or so down that road.
