Hello folks,
Just got back from Tupelo, Mississippi (birthplace of you-know-who), where I had what turned out to be an almost SIX-hour lunch with Danielle & lexuszoie, who also lives in northeast MS. Boy, did we have fun!! We gabbed the hours away and before we knew it, it was after 6 p.m. (dinnertime, LOL!). I think our waiter at Applebee's was ready for us to leave as after he took the check he never came back to our table... fortunately I think he must have gotten off work and one of the other nice servers served us dessert late in the afternoon!
Tomorrow is lexuszoie's first visit to see her husband at Limestone (where Brian was before being transferred to Mississippi) so I gave her all the tips I could think of, sent her on a mission, and all kinds of things! Hope you have a great visit, lady!!
Danielle & I had a great time meeting & getting to know lexuszoie and let me tell you, this woman is not only wonderful and fun and sweet but she is DARNED FUNNY!! We just laughed and gabbed all afternoon long. (Danielle's Wayne has been referring to this G2G as a "hen party" all week, LOL...) :D
And I have to report I got THE COOLEST THING EVER IN THE WORLD TODAY!! Danielle told me I just had to come today 'cos she had something for me, and that it wasn't Brian but it was close! She was right! She gave me a t-shirt that says in big letters - ALABAMA SUCKS!!! Isn't that AWESOME? She was wearing hers too - hers is in black and white Alabama DOC colors, heh heh - mine is in Roll Tide crimson!! I LOVE THIS THING!!! We are definitely going to have to take them to the PTO conference and wear them!!! THANK YOU, girlfriend!!! :)
And thank both of you lovely ladies for the fabulous company & afternoon!! I had a great time and we must do it again sometime and often!! And hey - Wayne may be coming home very soon - maybe next time I have lunch or dinner in Mississippi (besides at the prison, of course) it'll be with Danielle AND Wayne! :D
Now onto planning the first Alabama PTO get-together... coming soon (we hope)!!! :)
