Just got back from visiting Wayne. I am so tired from the drive - 4 1/2 hours one way. I left at 3 this morning and was a nervous wreck! Seeing his face calmed my fears and feeling his arms around me - I can't describe how truly wonderful it all was. We were only allowed to visit for 1 hour and 15 minutes, but it was the best 75 minutes I've spent in the past 112 days! He actually looks a little better than he did the last time I saw him. Heck, he always looks good to me. Anyway, we're both still hoping to find a way to get him classified in community custody or some way to get him back home. Just as I said before, I am afraid to hope but can't help but dream.

I met some really wonderful families outside in the parking lot before the visit and have even arranged to ride with one lady on the next visit - in just two weeks!!! Also promoted PTO to some of them...so you never know! Next time I hope to have some flyers to take.

Sorry for going on and on - I'm just so happy right now! If I am dreaming - don't wake me up!

That is wonderful that you got to see him. Yes, carpooling is a great way to meet new people. I hope you have many more great visits to come.

The sweetest part was that from his window by his bed he could see the parking lot and was watching for me. Since I got there pretty early, he watched me pull up and just sit in the car. Maybe it's that psychic connection, but I knew he was watching me. I told him where his dorm is - and I've never been there before. It was weird in a good way.

That is great I am so glad that you got to see him girl.. I can understand your excitement.. it is warrented.. You should be happy... I am happy for you.

It's those wonderful visits that help everyday go faster. I know that when ever I visit, no matter how hard the good-bye is, I know that I love him even more than I did when I got there.
