are prisoners allowed to have prayer beads or a rosary? my partner wears her beads around her neck, they are wooden with a photo medal on the bottom. will she be allowed to keep them when she self surrenders as i understand they are allowed to wear a chain with a sprititual pendant. thanks for the information.

you can ask the chaplain. They know the answers to all that kind of stuff.

Generally Federal Inmates are restricted to a simple religous medalian on a simple chain with no stones and cannot be valued at over $50.00.
