im gonna get married this year i hopefully with an inmate at high desert state prison but my problem is that i cannot find anything to wear for that day since the facility is so strict on there dress codes..:hmm:

I was thinking that if Billy and I get married while he's in prison, I don't want to be over dressed for the occassion. I would get something simple but classy. Something that goes a long with his clothes. And something that the prison will allow.

I agree with Denise. You'll find something that will be just right. The dress codes are a pain. I know what you're going through, been shopping for my outfit too. Found it on accident when I was looking for something else to wear for a birthday party. Hope you get lucky and find yours soon so it will be 1 less thing for you to worry about. Whatever you decide to wear, also bring a backup just in case.

Good point Carla. At visitation yesterday I saw them turn two people away because of what they were wearing. One lady was wearing a white shirt which isn't allowed since the prisoners all wear white shirts and pants. The other wasn't wearing a slip under her LONG dress. Slips are required and they do check. These ladies left in tears. It broke my heart.

Just get a white bridesmaids or prom dress that's what I'm going to do.

How about either a white or off white skirt suit, like the kind a lot of woman where to the court house wedding or maybe a white or cream summer dress? I think either will be appropriate and nice for pictures.

If u get a dress or skirt... make sure when u sit that the hem does NOT go above ur knees... u will get turned away. I was thinking of a pantsuit... saw some really pretty ones in a bridal mag.

that pants suits are very classy and a great outfit they ususally never turn you away for that... :)
