My Guy Has Recently Been Housed In Indiana (usp Terre Haute) Can Anybody Tell Me How Long It Will B Before He Can Call?what Visitation Rules Are? .... Any Info That Will Calm My Nerves Lol

Info that will calm your nerves....the initial arrival is hard on those of us out here not knowing. Out of curiousity, was he already in a federal institution or did he transfer from someplace else?

He should be able to get his phone list in within a 2 week period. Sometimes less, and in some cases their have been word arount PTO it took longer. Visitation can take a little longer if you are not immediate family, wife or mother of child. He'll have to send you a visiting form of course.

Visiting room was set up like an orchastra...everyone facing the officers desk area. There are rules naturally but as long as you stay within them...it's a visit that serves it's purpose. You can visit www.bop.gov and click on USP Terre Haute on the map for a view of the rules.

Personally, having experience with having a loved one in a couple other USP's, you don't usually see me complaining about Terre Haute USP....it's been a totally different experience then others...a much more easier and seemingly fair experience considering the circumstances. It depends much on the individual person...as each does their time their own way.

hey thanks for responding...kintmltu my guy was shipped from vandalia(fayette county) he was sentenced to eight months 4 a parole violation his projection date is 6/29/07
