My friend lives in Beacon NY, wants to visit her son in Southport, does anyone know of carpool or busses going from Beacon?

I have no idea where these locations are, so not a help there, but...I was wondering... Does your friend know about the free bus program that goes to several state facilitie? Has she or her son tried to find out whether or not there is one to the facility she needs to go to?
