I don't really have much to say- I just wanted to point out how close to the end my ticker is right now! I'm getting so excited. I've spoken to the parole people already (perhaps jumping the gun a little bit- parole isn't definate yet... no reason why he would be knocked back though...) He has a job waiting for him, I've found him a house to live in- 2 minutes from my house, and it's SO CLOSE NOW! It's all i think about...

Not long now Amanda, i would be getting so excited. It would be so hard not to.

DH doesn't believe in Valentine's Day. He says it's just commercialism gone mad so he has never got me anything. I gave him a card a couple of times but gave up when he just shrugged and didn't seem too impressed but this year I decided to send him a couple of cards just to remind him how special he is to me. It will be interesting to see whether he's decided that he might earn some brownie points by sending me a card this year.

It's right after his birthday and we celebrated that on the weekend. He was so embarrassed when a couple of other inmates and their wives and I all sang happy birthday to him in the visit centre. LOL

yeah your partner seemed embrassed.

I think he was Em but also a little chuffed. Not many people have ever made a fuss of his birthday so I think it made his day.

That makes it worth it.

Well, i got some exciting news today! My honey got parole. He'll be home in 6 weeks!!!!
