View Full Version : How much time will they serve of there sentence?!?!
JARSreunited 02-08-2007, 07:35 AM Well my baby got 2 sentences that will run concurrent. But we still don't know how much of it he will have to serve. ITs going to be 6 yrs to run concurrent with a 5, so 6 total.
How much time did they give your man, and how much did they or will they have to serve?!!
mrsdragoness 02-08-2007, 07:51 AM My husbands sentence was 20-50 years.. he served 19 of them.
pristock230 02-08-2007, 08:00 AM My daughters father received a sentence of 30 months 2 1/2 years
My friend in PA has an 86 year sentence.
lovinkiah 02-08-2007, 08:02 AM He was given a 3.5-7 year sentence. April will be exactly 4 years. He is due to CR (Conditional Release) on 12/17/07 and that will be almost 5 years, but he will be on parole for the remaining two years and 4 months. His max. date is 4/17/2010, so i am not a hundred percent sure but it is at least 4 years served.
My dad is serving 5.10-7 years. His expected release is Jan. 2011

crow94 02-08-2007, 04:39 PM Given : 10 years flat.
Serving: 10 years flat, minus a couple of days due to completing programs/seminars.
Also, he has to do 5 years on paper (probation) after he is released, even after serving the full sentence.
Leanne0106 02-08-2007, 05:28 PM my man was sentenced to 2 years. he will have to do 2/3 of the sentence and then he will be released on a mandatory release. he adjourned his parole hearing so he could finish the drug rehab programme. now he is done the programme and they told him it could take 6 months to get a new parole hearing date. he'll be out before the parole hearing is heard.
S.HDZ 02-08-2007, 06:04 PM They sentence my boo to 16 months but I really don't know. October of 2006 was his parole hearing and they gave him a 1 yr. set off. And now I am hoping that he will come out for parole this October of 2007. And if he does not get out this year he will finish his whole sentencing in July 25, 2008. But I am praying to have him home soon. God only knows. Wish me luck and lots of prayes as well.
ilovecharles 02-08-2007, 07:03 PM By the time my love is home he would have served a minimum of 12 years on a 17.5 year sentence...
LT&CT 02-08-2007, 07:20 PM Plea bargain to serve 38 months (3 years and 2 months).

BillieJo 02-24-2007, 11:54 AM Charlie will most likely sit his full three years, then have only one on paper. his last bid was before TIS, he sat over seven of ten years. right now I am waiting to see what happens, IF anything with a possible sentence reduction of 6 months... ...
it's time for him to change direction, for real.

crisslee 03-13-2007, 10:01 PM What I found out in my guy's situation was if he would have been appointed a competent attorney, he wouldn't have had to spend any time in "real" prison. However, the attorney he had only cared about his own career and jumped ship when he got into a practice of his own. Guess it also depends on what your baby was arrested for in the first place. Something you could do is call the legal clinic at your local University. They may be able to give you some free info.
jose&alicia 03-13-2007, 10:28 PM my husband got 10 years and he has to serve 85% of it then 3 years on parole...........
sandra8376 03-14-2007, 08:57 PM My husband originally had 37 months & served 22 months (1 year off for completing drug/alcohol program - feds).
He was revoked & spent every day of 3 months inside.
Revoked again & will spend 12 of 15 months (85%).
There's no early release in feds - you do 85% unless you lose GTC.

WastedMemoriez 03-18-2007, 10:06 PM Usually he will receive a parole decision after serving 1/3rd of his sentence so that would be 2 years.....But I could be wrong...My man got sentenced 2 years and they said he would be notified by paper documentation of the paroles decision after serving 1/3rd of his sentence..

fairydreemer 03-30-2007, 06:12 AM My husband did a plea bargain and is serving 6 months jail, but he already had 72 days credit and now became trustee so hopefully we are looking around May or June 07 for him to come home and then on paper 36 months Probation after he gets out so its not that bad thank God! :)

kwiggins 04-15-2007, 03:46 PM My man was revoked on his parole for 6 years but I have been told that he will serve anywhere from 6 months to 1 1/2 years. So I don't know exactly how long it will be, but one thing I do know is contrary to the beliefs of others I will be here for it. I love him and whether it be 6 months or 6 years I will be faithful and wait. The things we do for love......
Waitin4BlueEyes 04-22-2007, 10:22 AM My fiancé was sentenced to 6 years with 85%. However, since being in, he has had time added for disciplinary write-ups, 30 days here, 30 days there and we are maxed out now. He'll be home two years from TODAY!!!
