My son is in Union Parish Detention Center awaiting court,don't know what will happen,he has 16 months for parole violation in Missouri and this charge in Louisiana,hopefully they will just send him to missouri is what i want.

He was out the longest time since he was 15,got out sept 14th and back in jan 3rd.The hardest part is i had to turn him in for forgery,he was into using drugs and scaring me as i didn't know if he would come back alive everytime he left.He thanks me for possibly saving his life as he sees he was going down the wrong road.

At any rate will keep you all informed.Isn't easy dealing with the guilt here,i know i shouldn't feel guilty but in ways i do.

The guilt is part of the process... I know I went through it. Thinking about what I could have done differently ate me alive for awhile. But.. as time went on I accepted things for the way they were.. accepted that I could have done things differently and refuse to make the same mistakes again. I know for me I could never tell him no and I began to enable him to make poor choices. Good luck with everything and give yourself time to heal.

I know 2 guys in L Dorm at the UPDC. My ex husband is one of them.

well went to court today,he'll be leaving for missouri soon to do his 16 months.
