Thanks in advance Leanne0106 02-04-2007, 04:19 PM Millhaven visits are all done behind glass just like a provincial jail. Once your brother gets settled in there, have him send you and anyone else who wants to visit a visiting application. You then have to return it to Millhaven with 2 photos of yourself. They will run a check on you and let him know whether or not you have been cleared for visiting. I think it took about 6 weeks for my visit form to be processed. badboybubba 02-05-2007, 06:38 PM thanks for responding I really appreciate it. Leanne0106 02-05-2007, 06:56 PM you are welcome!!! legionofmany 08-19-2007, 08:21 PM thanks so much for posting this information i too have never been there and will be going there very soon and i dont know what to expect. also does any one know if the photos from a passport office would do , there are no photo booth kiosks near me. robbreid 08-24-2007, 10:13 PM Yes, Passport photos are perfect. Just a note; inmates are generally at Milhaven for 90 days or less, and then transferred to where they have been classified. As silly as this sounds, you will have to re-apply to visit at that institution. So when you get the application, photo copy it. When the inmate is told which institution he will be transferred too, you can mail the application prior to his arrival to save time between visits. |
