G'day
I was wondering if someone could explain the Levels at Terre Haute USP for me??? My mate mentions trying to get to Level II as it allows more freedom etc. Is it like some sort of merit system where good behaviour is rewarded??
Thanks
Jo

usp is the highest levels, fci is still behind a fence but they have more freedom. prison camps are the lowest level, there is no fence and in some cases they can go off the property to work in the public. im not sure how they classify people as to what level they will be in

I was a bit confused there...just thinking of the 'USP". But asours is correct...FCC Terre Haute includes the USP, FCI Medium and a FPC.
The FPC does have a fence...atleast on the USP edge of it.
FCI, which could be the Level II he is speaking of...is an older building. It actually use to be the USP Terre Haute. It is only surrounded by fences, not the concrete walls like the new USP.

So if someone is trying for level II that would mean a change of buildings??

Yes.
All 3 levels are on the same grounds. USP is to the left, FPC is straight ahead and the FCI is on the right when facing the buildings.
If you go to Google Earth, look up Bureau Drive Terre Haute Indiana 47801.
You will see how it's laid out. Mapquest also has an arial view however the USP does not show on Mapquest. The pictures are not as current as Google Earth.
