just got a letter from my bf that he was being transferred from cim to lancaster with 6 weeks left. does anyone know if he will be in reception for a long time? he never made it out of reception in chino, spent 6 weeks there. also, when they realase at lancaster is it in the am? any info would be helpful, kind of new a this.:confused:

i suggest you call lancaster inmate record info line at 661-729-2000 x 5100 to find out more. As far as I know, he is still probably be in reception at lancaster.

if there time is done and they are still in reception, will they release them or do they have to wait until they are mainlined? cus my friend is also in lancaster reception and is expected to be released in may.

thanks for the info but insead of lancaster they sent him to old folsom.

if he is scheduled to be released..... regardless of reception or mainline, he is still release..... reception or mainline is just the matter of how he is house and his benefit to the programs that are avail to him while he is in there. it has nothing to do with his release date. he is still going home on his scheduled release date.

i guess you can call folsom state prison at (916) 985-2561, press 0 for the operator and ask for inmate record info ext and go on from there. otherwise, i think you can check this site to find a thread of folsom. may be there will be more info on it. good luck
