Hey all it's time for my 30th on Wed, getting my first tatt. Bit scared about this, might pull out. It's going to go on my foot... ouch!!

Had the best present my sister surpirsed me and flew in from interstate to spend the week down here, came home to find her and the family sitting in the lounge.
Hubby has made up a huge poster with all the reason's of why he loves me.
A few family and friends are coming over on Wed to celebrate and see to if I really did get the tatt done.

Does this mean I am getting old now??? :D

I got one done for our 6 year anniversary last June and will never regret it.

And 30, huh? It's all down hill from there! Hahaha, just kidding.

A hint for the tatt, full on psych yourself up that it will TOTALLY kill. Then when they do it, it won't hurt as much! (And don't take someone with you that is going to sit in front of you saying "ah man, that must REALLY hurt!")

SBH I am telling myself this is going to hurt, even the tatt artist told that is a painful spot but it will only take an 1hr and 3o min, what ONLY!! In which a person getting a tatt on the same spot turned to me and said I could not sit here for that long this is painful.
My palms are sweating and I have people coming with me who have tatt's that are telling me that wont hurt.
I have put off getting a tatt for the pain factor.
Let you know how I go, I have been told there is a cream that can be applied before to ease the pain.

Gees Em, you must be getting a big tatt!!! An hour thirty for one on your foot?? There is actually patches apparently that you can put on the area before you go and it will numb the area. Maybe you could try that.

Em, I know what you mean about putting it off. I was petrified and my mother in law came with me so she could remind about how crazy I was while it was getting done!

Yeah, I have heard of the patches that nessy mentioned to put on before it, but I didn't use them. Make sure you have some Bepanthon (the cream used for nappy rash) cause it will help with the healing but they will tell you all that when you get it done! How exciting!

Counting down the time til I am getting the tatt done at 17.30!!!! I will post the tatt pic once done

Had the tatt done, gee it hurt!!!! I will post the pic 2morow. The special cream costs $65 and only lasts 1hr so I would have to make 2 appointments. After that pain I did not want to.
Sorry I did not make it to the chat I had many people drop in. Had a great B'day Hubby called a few times to see if I got it.

Em Im so sorry that I havent been around this week. I have been working long hrs for the past week. When I get home I am just so buggered, and then DH is sitting on here playing computer games, so I have no chance getting on here.
I am pleased you had such a wonderful birthday. I turned 30 in Nov, and I found it really hard. I guess its more I have to start being mature :D
The tat looks great. I have one on my back and I loved getting it done. Im thinking of having the boys names or something like that done.

Love the tattoo!! But that must of hurt like heck!!!!!!
