Alot of the guys do not have ANYone to visit them, or even write to. You being a pen pal to someone, Is great. I'm sure he is gratefull for your time and that you care enough to write even if you two don't visit together. It's still nice that he has you to write to and talk with. As he has said, be patient... everyone has to.
