Can anyone give me alittle insight on meeting with the press. They have agreed to meet with me. They haven't promised a story on it yet but I guess there is hope. Help I am completely beside myself.

Congratulations Angie,
I would make sure your bring any and all documents which can help you prove your story. And that you can show a paper trail or pattern of the events. I would also honest and tell the truth. Be sincere and look them in the eye. Don't be intimiated as the truth will set ya free. I'm no expert but it's something I would do.
Good Luck!
Mrs. Joe
Make sure you understand what they are looking for in this story. Ask questions and do your research...what kind of publication are they working for? Is it one that tends to promote criminals in a certain light? And be careful....you would be surprised how words can get twisted to sound totally different in print. Has your fiance' agreed to you being interviewed and sharing it all?
Also, you can ask to talk off the record and get them to agree before saying anything more. If they are doing research for a lengthy piece, they will want to interview others [victims, family members, etc....] and everyone has their side of the story.
