My boyfriend has a serious medical condition which requires constant monitoring and medication. He has been out many times for medical testing. He is housed in a facility that does not have a specialist on staff. Right now he is on medical holdover at a facility with the specialist. We are not sure how long he will be monitored by the specialist.

I am concerned because the nurse practictioner at his housing facility is tring to stop his meds. The meds have helped the symptoms but without them blood clots could develop causing a stroke.

Is there a way to get him transferred to where the specialiat is staffed?

Who can I contact? counselor?ablany? who at albany? HELP PLEASE US

I have no Answers for you but if you go to your states thread I am sure someone can help you or lead you to the answers you need. I know here in Indiana they do have prisons with hospital units. Good luck to you both!
