Is he at Adelanto or Desert View? They are both right next door to eachother, but Adelanto is run by the city and Desert View is run by The GEO Group. It is a minimum security prison in Adelanto, CA. I have heard that they are pretty laid back there. My husband just transfered out of Desert View though, so I won't be going there any more.

i think he is in adelanto .. yeah he told me that it is like a farm there. he gets to call me .... oh yeah he said that they dont get jpay there but i just send him 50 on friday do you think he will get them or he wont what should i do? how do i put money in his books? is mail the only way?

All you have to do is send a money order. What is cool about Adelanto, you don't have to send a postal money order, you can send any money order. It should post to his books pretty fast too. As for everything else, you might have to get reapproved to visit. These CCF's are strange, even though the title 15 says you do not have to reapply, the CCFs don't have access to the computer system like the CDCR prisons, so they do not know that you were approved. I am going through this again, I was approved at Donovan, approved at Desert View MCCF and now I have to get approved all over again at Central Valley MCCF and Desert View and Central Valley are both ran by The GEO Group, so you would think that they would be connected.
