The following information has been sent to us by DOC. If you visit at MACC you may want to call first. Everyone be safe on the roads as more bad weather is suppose to be coming. We also had word passed on that the phones have been down at Cushing for this past week, not sure when they might be back on, if they are not already.

Friday, Saturday ad Sunday visitation has been canceled at JBCC and OSP due to weather and power outages. The offenders are being notified so that they will have the opportunity to contact those planning to visit. MACC is also being affected with weather and power outages. At this time visitation is planned however, if conditions deteriorate any further MACC will also be forced to cancel visitation. The safety of the public, staff and offenders must remain our highest priority.

I think she wants to know why DOC sent you the info that there wouldn't be any visits at JBCC and OSP????????? Can any one get DOC to send them that info?????

I got this same information from OKCURE. Lynn seems to be pretty good at keeping up with this type of information. Anyone wanting to keep posted, I would suggest signing up for the CURE emails.
