My name is Gea Storey and my Tim and I got married four months ago today:D and i hate for not being able to be with him today.

I am now living in Holland ( europe) but i am planning on moving to the states next year may with my kids.

I would realy like to know how to go about that.
I called the embasy here in den Haag but they don't really know what to tell me and they send me all these forms that i can't make head nor tails with.

I've send it out to my Tim but even he doesn't know what to do with it.
So if there is anyone who can point me in the right direction i would be real happy:haha:

i just read your post,in which you say that you got married to your man in prison a couple of months ago. i'm from europe as well (switzerland)and my man and i want to get married soon; we just don't know exactly how to go about it ...did you get married by proxy? if you could PM me and give me some more details about this marriage thing that would be great! hope to hear from you soon...

marriage by proxy is when someone else (doesn`t matter whether female or male) stands in for your man at the county clerk`s office to get married. only two states allow inmates to get married by proxy. my man is in texas and they can only get married by proxy because TDC thinks they don`t deserve a ceremony at the unit itself...
